'I'm not one to casually switch equipment or to constantly try out new clubs. You can have all the clubs you want when you're on the Tour, but that’s not really my style. The clubs that I finished the 2014 season with are still just sitting in my bag. I specifically decided against signing a sponsorship contract for clubs, although I certainly get offers. But for the time being, I want to be free to choose.'
'I have fifteen ‘regular clubs’ that I take to tournaments. Naturally, only fourteen clubs are allowed in the bag. So for each tournament, I have to choose between my 2 iron and my rescue club. The club I choose depends both on the type of course I'm playing and the weather. Most of the time I go with the rescue, but on links, or when there's a lot of wind, I grab my 2 iron because it drives a straighter, lower ball flight.'
'I know down to the meter how far I can hit with each club. That information is vital when I’m out on the course and have to make decisions. Below is a brief overview of my most recently measured distances (the distance is carry, measured without wind and without roll).'
